Colossal Cave Mountain Park
Colossal Cave Mountain Park, Tucson, AZ was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps from
1934-1938 and is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The park includes Colossal Cave, two campgrounds and a working ranch.
The Cave Headquarters includes COlossal Cave, Bat Garden, Bat Pot Gift
Shop, Optical Viewers, and Souvenier Penny Machine.
The campground and picnic areas of El Bosquecito and La Selvilla are
located along the Post Quemada Wash.
La Posta Quemada Ranch includes Horseback Riding Stables, the CCC Museum, the Bundrick Hiking
trail, the LPS Ranch Museum, Doubletree Gift Shop, Gemstone Sluice, Research Library, Tortoise
enclosure, Butterfly garden, and Analemmatic Sundial.
