Coyote Gallery
Coyotes, and American Southwest Mearns coyotes (Canis latrans mearnsi), are prevalent throughout Arizona.
They are most often seen near sunrise and sunset, but their late night early morning howling and pack
yipping with pups is unmistakable.
Shoppe at Civano Bed & Breakfast is close by the Pantano Wash where coyotes thrive, and we've seen
them walking through our neighborhood. They are true urban survivors, living among us in the desert southwest.
